Good series of questions. The online works well on the iPad. The online interactive quiz on Samsung Tab 4 truncates the images making it kinda worthless in interactive mode. Images are ok in standard question mode. Online is through inkling.

It states that it will be out on February 1, 2011, but Amazon sent the item to me a few days ago and it is in my hands.It's 2011, and Franklin begins the celebration of his 25th anniversary with this wonderful book - a 25th anniversary edition of his very first adventure. This includes the complete, original "Franklin in the Dark." In the story, Franklin finds himself with a big problem. Turtles sleep in their shells, but it's dark in there, and Franklin is afraid of the dark. He drags his shell behind him and goes on a journey, looking for someone to help him with his problem. Though he doesn't find anyone who has a problem just like his, his adventure does give him an idea for how to overcome his fear.This 25th anniversary edition has so much more than the original story however. Included at the very beginning is Paulette Bourgeois's original manuscript - "The Turtle They Called Chicken," giving fans a rare look into the early development of the series. There is also original storyboard artwork and sketches, as well as letters from both Paulette Bourgeois and Brenda Clark.The pages at the back of the book contains even more excellent supplementary material. Readers are given a look at the development of the entire series - from the books to the television show, with the promise of an upcoming CGI series in 2011. There are also pictures of many different types of "Franklin" merchandise, some of which I didn't even know existed. A fun Halloween classic in my house. My nine year-old girl still enjoys when I read this book to her. My wife and I both teach at the elementary level so any opportunity to read fun stories such as these that teach kids about the nuances of friendship is dear to our hearts!The illustrations are fun and vividly capture the spirit of the Halloween season!This was the Kindle version of the book and I was concerned it would be diminished, but it wasn't. A wonderful surprise!

This has been a good book for my 3 (almost 4) year old daughter. She has been afraid to sleep by herself in her room. It's a super sweet story. We skip the word "monsters" when the book talks about what might be in Franklin's shell. I don't want to plant any ideas in her head! Besides that, super cute book!

My little 7 month old got a kick out of this for her first Halloween. She loves the characters and it's not too wordy that she gets bored.

Catana Chetwynd is a self-taught traditional artist and the enthusiastic author of Catana Comics. My boyfriend and me love these characters, it took a while for my calendar to arrive but once received I was not disappointed! Large size and the comic for each month is great, I already have it hanging!

My wife and I love Catana comics and we were excited to get their newest calendar. We had last years calendar and I will admit this new one is way better. It's bigger, cheaper, and comes in color (I'm assuming with added popularity they can produce more, improved merch). Plus, they have new pictures (I'm glad they didn't recycle the ones from last year). Overall happy with it

Bought this to have for important dates to be marked for our upcoming wedding this year. My fiance looked at it for a few minutes and I thought he was going to hate it. To my surprise he smiled and asked how did I find a calendar that resembles us so well.

Bought for my wife, who adores the comics. Was a little worried when the ship dates kept changing, but the calendar arrived the day before her birthday when I purchased it as a pre order. Funny and cute that the wife identifies well with.

I'm an avid follower and fan of cantana comics. Which is why I didn't really like the faded pastel colors added to the comics for the calendar. I'm used to the simple black and white. The pages are thin which worries me since I like using marker for my events and reminders. The texture of the pages isn't glossy which I like a lot. Overall, it was a decent quality calendar but the thinness of pages and coloring will make me not purchase it next year.

My husband and I love these comics and the calendar is adorable. We had already purchased a 2019 calendar when I saw this one but had to get it anyway!

Love this comic strip and the calendar does not disappoint very adorable!

This is a fantastic introduction to the Goddess religion for anyone who is curious or in search of something more. The book is beautifully written, and offers reflective passages, rituals, and symbolism that help the reader identify with certain aspects as they find understanding. A phenomenal read, and definitely my favorite book I've ever read.

With all the disinformation, fear and hostility to alternate belief systems that are so pervasive, this should be required reading for anyone who truly is interested in grasping the fundamental and essential concepts of Goddess worship in modern day civilization. Call it Wicca, Witchcraft, the Craft of the Wise, Wicce, etc, the ideas of the Sacred in this religon, the ways Divinity is understood and worshipped, the meanings of the symbols, tools, seasons, holidays and ethics for every practitioner/believer are all explained thoroughly and completely in easily accessible language. Even those whose faith is very different can gain an appreciation of this religion, lose the sterotypes and come to a better sense of what it is and what it isn't. This is the most rational, calm, true and sensible explanation of Goddess Worship - "the Olde Religion" to come along yet. Buy it. It could easily be required reading for a comparative religion class.

My favorite book on this subject, of all, to date. More than a suitable read for a thoughtful, intelligent, responsible and fair introduction for one who wishes to broaden his/her understanding of the ancient philosophies that underwent so much persecution, suppression, fear and suffering by so many.It's also particularly relevant for the new practitioner including some get-your-toes-wet guidance and exercises for practice and crafting. I won't lie, it has a bit of feminist bent on occasion, however, considering the initial release was what, 38, nearly 40 years ago, it's more than understandable given what was going on back then. Gender equality plus the right for one to freely worship in their belief or what feels most natural and sincerely connecting have all advanced light years in the past 40 years in most parts of the world; of course, there's still ample room before we reach the point of needing to not have the discussion concerning human rights any longer. I didn't mean to digress - the point I am trying to make is that this is by far my favorite book on the subject and it's become my preferred reference and go-to-guide time and time again and it's more than a worthy and pertinent source, still.

The only reason I can't leave five stars for this amazing book is because even when I told Amazon that they sent me a different printing edition than the one pictured (it was still a 20th anniversary edition, but not with the pretty coloured cover as shown. Instead, they said they would replace it and sent me a second copy with the same black cover that they sent me the first time that you can see from my customer image, is not the cover advertised with the listing. I know that shouldn't matter, and I've dropped it since they clearly didn't understand what they were supposed to be replacing it with,but I really did think the cover that was pictured was lovely and wish they would have managed to send me one like in the picture. Oh well. Starhawk's legendary work made up for it. This is a pagan classic and belongs on every Goddess worshipper's shelf. This was the beginning of the modern rebirth of the Goddess movement and the history alone is so inspiring and compelling. The prologue she wrote for the 20th anniversary in the beginning is very good and very insightful. It details how she has grown and evolved since the first printing and what things is any she would have done differently now than then, if she had it to write all over again with the perspective of 20 more years. Excellent read.

Hi all!some people commented that it should be more "updated". I was worried about that when buying it. I live in Italy (am italian) and very new to these topic, and to American writers on this topic. I have been reading Vicky Noble, Marija Gimbutas, Jean Bolen... wicca only read blogs online and so on. But only recently heard about Starhawk. So I was worried about buying "an old book" that was not enough "updated" to women's situation all over the world. It's absolutely not the case!This book is a lot more than simple "common sense". It's clear and comprehensive. It makes sense! even today. If you want to read something that speaks to a woman's soul, then read this book. It's timeless! It reminds me a bit of Pinkola Estes kind of writing, you have to read with spirit soul and brain all together, both sides of your brain, right and left. If you are new to the topic be open, don't be harsh judging.And I am so happy about reading it that I want to read her other books, because I'm interested in Permaculture and that's the way to go... Starhawk is very very up to date! check her blogs and activities, her commitment to the Earth and you'll see what I mean.

It is a great resource for beginers & those of us that have been around awhile. I learned some very interesting things that I did not know & have now implamented into my riuals & well as my everyday life. I'm glad I got the book. If you are just wanting to know what Witchcraft is about this my not be the book for you. But if you are seriouse about fallowing the path of a Witch & your looking for good information on how to do things, the tools you need & other sources. This is very much the book for you. I feel that I am writing a slightly redundant review.This book is very well-written. The magical exercises and the magical world-view is very well explained.As for the historical veracity, I am not too concerned, as people will make up their own minds.

A good book to give ideas for what Relics and Artifacts can do. A good buy specifically if you get one with the storytellers screen. For someone who got into the Old World of Darkness when it was ending (ie. 2004) I've had a hard time finding the books that I want in good condition.Over all while not required a welcome addition to my growing collection.

This storyteller's screen is suitably moody, and the "Buried Secrets" book is useful, but neither is 100% essential for a good game of Wraith: The Oblivion. If you have a few bucks to spare, the elegantly dark screen will definitely contribute to the mood of the atmosphere (it looks great by candlelight), the nicely organized reference tables will be a great convenience, and the "Buried Secrets" book will give you a few good ideas.

I consider this screen to be the best White Wolf has made. It has the normal wraith/chains artwork, and spans an extra page from the other Stroyteller's Screens (4 pages total). Beyond that, it has similar information. I just feel it looks much better than the others, and I use it most of the time when I run my games. The book, Buried Secrets, has many little-known facts that are quite interesting. It has the most secrets about what's really going on in Wraith excluding, of course, Ends of Empire. While it is not incredibly useful from a gaming aspect, the book is a great tool to help design role-playing scenarios, as it gives enough information to better flesh out certain adventures that the main rulebook is vague on. I would recommend this book at least for storytellers, and for anyone who wishes to know more about the secrets of Wraith.
