Came quickly and sealed in factory packaging. Haynes is the way to go even if you have the factory shop manual. This book has already been incredibly helpful to me. They take the time to explain things in a super understandable way. This is even better than watching tutorial videos online. It's really nice to have on hand and if you like working on your LC, get this now so that when you are in the middle of a job or something breaks, you already have it.Great purchase.

Typically mediocre Haynes manual. Not specific to the 80-series, covers the 60 as well, but not to any great degree on either. Cheaper than buying the factory manuals, but very sad to see that Haynes manuals are the same as they were 30+ years ago - "installation is the reverse of removal" and whatnot

There's a lot to be desired with this manual. For exampe, it does not get into detail on certain items, such as ABS sensors, and details on directional installation for some smaller parts. I also wish the pic quality was better. Overall, it's better to have this manual when doing repairs than nothing at all. I needed internet forums for some trouble shooting that was not mentioned in the manual, i.e, clicking of the ABS brake. Turns out my FJ80 just need the ABS sensor cleaned after repacing the seals and gaskets on the birfield axle.

This is a poor substitue for a Factory Service Manual (FSM), even at less than 1/4 the price. I say, if you're buying a vehicle this old, you're probably in athe market for a more detailed manual, and the FSM will pay for itself easily. But, if you're planning to do only minimal work on the truck yourself, this one might work to keep you up on the basics.

I actually thought it was a Factory Repair Manual... Please know that it is not!!! Helpful, but its a fairly small, manual missing a lot of info!!
